Jill Hennessy

Her multi-ethnic heritage includes Irish, Italians, Swedishs french, Ukrainians, and Italians. Jacqueline is her twin sister. She is also an actor. Jill was fluent in several languages throughout her childhood. This were Italian, French, and Spanish. Jill began to become interested in the acting world at age twelve. The path to acting began in Toronto when she played an actor in David Cronenberg's Dead Ringers, along with her sister. Then she studied improv comedy at Second City with Deb Kimmet. After that, she moved into New York two years later after which she signed a deal to play the role of Detective Assistant Claire Kincaid in the hit lengthy-running show Law & Order. In the three years she lived in New York working on the feature film industry, which included RoboCop 3 (1993), Ron Howard's The Paper (1996) and I Shot Andy Warhol (1996). Following that she was offered roles in several forgettable films. Then, in 1999 she landed a starring position in the mini-series uremberg along with Alec Baldwin. The roles in the major series including Autumn in New York and Exit Wounds followed. In 2001, she landed the lead role in the crime show on NBC Crossing Jordan and in 2007, she won a Gracie Allen award as "Outstanding Female Lead in the drama Series" for her work in the series. The actress got married to another actor Paolo Mastropietro in 2000. The couple has two children. In 2007, she was inducted into Canada's Walk of Fame in 2007. Jill Jill Jill Jill Jill
