Marcia Gay Harden

Marcia Gay Harden was born on the 14th of August 1959 in La Jolla, California, the third of five children. Her mother, Beverly (Bushfield) she was a domestic worker, and her father Thad Harold Harden, was a soldier. Harden was a student at American universities across Europe, then returned to the US in 1983 and completed her studies at the University of Texas. She obtained an MFA at NYU and began her career as an actor.
