Jessica Chastain
Jessica Chastain is an American actress and producer who is famous for portraying strong-willed women in films with feminist themes. She was the winner of a Golden Globe Award, she is nominated in two categories at the Oscars. Born in California which is in the US her first desire to act after she saw the play "Joseph and The Amazing Tecnhicolor Dreamcoat'. As a part of a stage production based on Romeo and Juliet, she debuted professionally. After that, she had her first film appearance in the drama "Jolene". Her popularity increased with her film roles, for example, 'Take shelter", 'The Help', 'Mama' and "Interstellar". In the category 'Best Actress she was awarded the Golden Globe Award in recognition for her performance as a character in "Zero Dark Thirty". She is most famous for her role as a strong, but flawed women and many of her characters are known as they advocate for feminist ideals. A feminist who is outspoken, she is famous for her outspoken support for equal pay as well as her refusal of works she felt were offering her unfair pay. TIME magazine ranked her among the Top 10 Most Influential People in the World in 2012.
