Anamaria Marinca bio
Anamaria Marina is an Romanian actor. Her debut on screen was Sex Traffic, a Channel 4 film in which she received the British Academy Television Award as Best Actress. She speaks fluently French, German and English. Her father is a theater professor for one of Romania's top drama schools. Awarded an award for the Best Female Actor Award in 2000 at the Mangalia Gala of Young Actors. She was selected as a European Shooting Star by the European Film Promotion Board in the year 2008. Apart from her amazing performance in Sex Traffic, Anamaria Marinca is most famous for her role in the Romanian artist film 4 months 3, Weeks, 2, Days. This film won several awards, including the European Film Award Best Actress from the The London Film Critics. The actress starred as a Romanian actor in Cristian Mungiu's film 4 luni3 two days (four months, three weeks and two days) that was awarded three weeks, four months and two days) which was awarded the Palme d'Or and other prizes during the 2007 Cannes Film Festival. In addition, she appeared in The Francis Ford Coppola film Youth Without Youth. In 2008 she played Yasim Anwar in BBC mini-series The Last Enemy. Marinca had roles in Oliver Hirschbiegel's Five Minutes of Heaven as well as the Romanian film Boogie. She played Irma on Fury 2014, in which she played the role of a German known aunt for Emma.
