In addition, she appeared in The Francis Ford Coppola film Youth Without Youth. In 2008 she played Yasim Anwar in BBC mini-series The Last Enemy. Marinca had roles in Oliver Hirschbiegel's Five Minutes of Heaven as well as the Romanian film Boogie. She played Irma on Fury 2014, in which she played the role of a German known aunt for Emma.
