Awkwafina

American musician and actor Awkwafina debuted with sly rap tracks that tackled sexuality and racial identities with a boldly comedic perspective before increasing her presence in Hollywood. Nora Lum began her musical career as a musician on the trumpet. Her birthplace was Forest Hills Queens, she was the child of Chinese immigrants and Korean immigrants. Alongside classical music and jazz, the young Nora started to study hip-hop during her teens. Concentrating on school she majored in journalism and women's studies at college, even taking classes in Mandarin in Beijing during a brief time. Following graduation, she decided to focus on music. The song My Vag, a response track to the Mickey Avalon's My Dick gained viral popularity via the Internet in 2012. It was eventually included on the album debut Yellow Ranger released in 2014. On the album, there also were viral songs like Queef (body-positive) as well as NYC Bitche$1. This latter song was directly tied to Awkwafina's NYC, a 2015 travel guide. Her resume contained both an musicians and an author. The singer was seeking for a new career path in acting. Aside from early TV programs like Girl Code and Tawk, she has also been featured in movies like Neighbors2Storks, and Bad Rap. Her breakthrough came in the year 2018 when she appeared in a number of high profile films, including Dude Ocean's 8 and Crazy Rich Asians. That June she issued the EP in Fina We Trust.
